Proton Gen-2 car leasing and Contract Hire Deals

Demand is low for Proton Gen-2 contract hire – almost zero in fact - and however hard we try it’s difficult to find something complimentary to say about this car; it has one the poorest build qualities you could possible encounter in the western world, certainly the poorest since the days when Britain’s car industry reached an all-time low in the 1970’s.

The Gen-2 doesn’t drive too badly and it has a reasonable gearbox. Proton Gen-2 leasing is far from cheap considering how little the car has to offer; mainly because its residual values are appalling. It’s difficult to find a car that compares to this vehicle, perhaps a 1980’s Lada. Fuel consumption is a combined cycle of 40.9mpg and it has CO2 emissions of 164g/km. It would have been nice to say that at least the Proton Gen-2 has a Euro NCAP 5 star safety rating but it couldn’t even manage that; it has 4 stars.
