Those who lease a Mitsubishi Shogun are generally looking for a strong robust vehicle that will take on any conditions they want to throw at it. When it comes however to using the vehicle as a soft roader, it struggles to keep up with the competition. The interior on the current model is much improved on its predecessor and it has a very good equipment level. Where this vehicle really scores is in rough terrain; it is a proper off roader rather than so much of the competition that don’t do particularly well off- road. Indeed many never get muddier than going through the odd puddle.
If it is a soft roader you are looking for there are a lot of very good alternatives to leasing a Mitsubishi Shogun. There is the Audi Q3 and the Q5, Toyota Land Cruiser, Land Rover Discovery and Freelander, Range Rover Evoque and the Range Rover Sport.
