The CR-Z is Honda’s hybrid performance car, it is broadly based on the Insight but it is lighter and smaller, with more powerful engines. It has an electric motor that boosts the petrol engine and also acts as a generator when the car is braking or coasting. The Cr-Z has the Stop/Start system which also helps with the car’s fuel consumption; the entry model has a combined fuel consumption of 56.5 mpg and CO2 emissions of 117 g/km, which is a factor in Honda CRZ leasing becoming increasingly popular.
