Certain Manufacturers, particularly on some of their models, are currently quoting long delivery periods. Bowater Price is on occasions able to quote a shorter delivery than is generally available as we pre- purchase certain vehicles. On other occasions we are quoting the same delivery periods that are available with other companies.
There are examples where companies quote a delivery date they cannot achieve, as a means to secure the order. The customer can discover that after for example five weeks, the vehicle is going to be delayed for another five weeks; by this time no one else can quote a shorter delivery period.
There are occasions when things happen that are completely beyond our control; on one occasion a cross channel ferry sank and with it our consignment of new BMW's. Apart from these exceptional circumstances, our commitment is to quote a delivery date that is realistically achievable and deliver on time.
All forms of funding provided by Bowater Price plc is subject to status. A business user is defined by certain funders, as having been in business for two years and VAT registered. We do however have other lending sources available that will consider applications from companies that don't meet these criteria.
