The Qashqai has been a roaring success; we were surprised by the very high demand for Nissan Qashqai contract hire, as soon as it was launched in 2007; Nissan has always struggled to keep up with the demand for this vehicle. Nissan may have been the first to come up with the Crossover but it hasn’t taken long for the competition to catch up. There have since been changes made to the appearance of the Qashqai, although the changes were minor as Nissan didn’t want to upset a winning formula.
The Qashqai’s residual values are good, which helps to keep Nissan Qashqai leasing costs down. It also has excellent fuel economy; a combined cycle of 45.6mpg and CO2 emissions of 144g/km. As you would expect the Qashqai has a Euro NCAP five star safety rating. Alternative vehicle you could consider are the Ford Focus, Peugeot 3008, Nissan Leaf, Vauxhall Ampera, Skoda Yeti and the Volkswagen Golf.
