VW Tiguan leasing is highly popular and with good reason; it's a very smart smaller version of the Toureg and therefore more practical and versatile. BMW X1 contract hire is rather more popular, although some choose it just for the badge. The X1 an excellent vehicle but in a rather different price range; Tiguan’s leasing costs are lower.
As nice as it is to drive a large 4X4 they can be a pain, particulary if you drive a lot in the city; manoeuvring such a large vehicle in narrow streets and trying to find a suitable parking space it will fit into.
Many of our Toureg contract hire clients have downsized to a Tiguan when their Toureg lease has come up for renewal. Whilst we shouldn’t take too much notice of those who object to large 4X4’s based on their desire to save the planet / jealousy, the fact is a Tiguan has lots of advantages.
A wonderful option available on this vehicle is called Park Assist, which adds a few pounds to the Tiguan’s contract hire cost but makes life so easy; as you drive down the road it scans ahead for suitable parking spaces, it even tells you how far past the space you need to go before stopping and amazingly steers the car into the space. You only have to control the speed.
Something else that makes VW Tiguan contract hire very popular is that it is so roomy inside; it has lots of headroom so adults can comfortably sit in the rear of the vehicle. It has a good sized boot and with the rear seats folded, it increases the size to over 1500 litres. Most people don’t know how much 1500 litres is but it’s big.
It is good off road too, what more could you want? The Tiguan looks great especially in black and if the budget will stretch to it, even better in black with cream leather. Providing you don’t have small children; getting toffee, crisps and biscuits of cream leather is not ideal
Many of the clients who lease a VW Tiguan have children and safety is vital, so the fact that the Tiguan has an overall five star safety rating from Euro NCAP is an important consideration. In fact just looking at the car you can see it is solid and sturdy.
There is plenty of competition in this range of vehicle. Some contract hire clients go for the Freelander because they feel it has more status. Perhaps, but you will pay more for that status if you compare similarly equipped vehicles; Freelander contract hire works out a lot more expensive and not everyone agrees that it has more status. BMW X1 contract hire is another alternative to the Tiguan but also as previously mentioned; more expensive.
Other vehicles in this category are the Rav 4, the Volvo XC60 and the Ford Kuga , which is a lovely looking vehicle. The Kia Sportage is another excellent vehicle which is worth looking at; Sportage leasing costs start at a very economical £297 per month.
