Volvo is planning to increase their workforce by 200 in number, in order to meet an increased demand for their cars. We have certainly experienced an increase in enquiries for Volvo contract hire vehicles over the past year. They plan to increase production from forty eight cars an hour, to fifty two.

Most people’s reaction is that it doesn’t sound much of an increase at all; it is nevertheless (based on production running twenty four hours a day) an extra six hundred and seventy two cars a week. The increase they are anticipating is just over eight percent, although the increase in orders we have experienced for Volvo car leasing has been somewhat higher; perhaps ten to twelve per cent.

Volvo C30. This is an excellent vehicle but not popular with everyone; the rear of the car is of a design which you either love or hate.
