Aston Martin Cygnet car leasing and Contract Hire Deals

Aston Martin Cygnet contract hire is proving to be very popular, as we knew it would; some motoring journalists questioned whether motorists would be prepared to pay a Premium – a not insignificant premium - in order to drive a vehicle based on the Toyota iQ. Toyota iQ contract hire will cost you somewhere in the order of £500 less per month, than it costs to lease an Aston Martin Cygnet, but of course that is not the point. The point is that one is a Toyota and the other is an Aston Martin and that means  real status, to those who choose the Cygnet.

There were over four hundred Cygnets on order long before the vehicle was launched and a six month waiting list. This car should not however be thought of as a re-badged iQ; it looks very different with its Aston Martin styling and the interior is pure luxury. Interestingly it takes one hundred and fifty man hours to produce a Cygnet, only fifty hours short, of the man hours required to build a DB9.

When you sit inside this vehicle it’s not difficult to see where the time has been spent; with its Alcantara roof lining and hand stitched leather. The car drives well and it feels solid, it has 16 inch alloys which is a large wheel for a vehicle of this size. This car turns heads wherever it goes, it looks fantastic.

When it comes to alternatives to leasing an Aston Martin Cygnet, there are none; the Ford Fiesta and the Vauxhall Corsa may be excellent vehicles and they may be a quarter of the cost of Aston Martin Cygnet contract hire but those who choose the Cygnet wouldn’t give them a second look.
